Getting here...

Located in the heart of Lincoln's historic quarter and receiving hundreds of thousands of visitors every year, Lincoln Cathedral is geared-up to welcome guests. Lincoln's railway station and temporary bus station are just over half a mile away (a 15 minute walk up the picturesque Steep Hill, voted Britain's best street in 2011). Buses 7, 8, 17 and 18 run directly from the bus station to the historic quarter and there are numerous car parks throughout the uphill area and within the wider city. For further information, please contact Lincoln Visitor Information Centre or download a Lincoln City Map showing car park locations and other facilities.

Thanks to a grant, door-to-door bus transportation for schools is free.
